I have a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing with a second major in English Lit. Yes, I have a life. No, it doesn't involve just books and make believe fantasies (some of them DO come true!). HA! Seriously, though, I like to write (short stories- fiction & poetry). I could say I'm "working on a novel," but that would imply that I've actually been writing it and, since I haven't even gotten past the Prologue, I give up saying that I'm "working" on it.I also made the mistake of getting into scrap booking about 3 years ago. I call it a "mistake" simply because I bought a boat load of stuff (it's not cheap, either) and hardly ever use it. I mostly make cards when I want a quick creative outlet but don't feel like taking the time to do design & layout of full 12x12 pages (I know...that sounds really lazy).I love photography, but only do it for fun and don't claim to be any good at it. And, of course, I love to read.
The person who figured out how to turn a bean into great tasting coffee... Mmmmm....
Varies depending on my mood. I will listen to anything from Janis Joplin to Ella Fitzgerald to Louis Armstrong to Fleetwood Mac to The Smashing Pumpkins to Casting Crowns to well...you get the point...
I like action, suspense, drama, and comedy. Sometimes I'll watch a "chick flick," but I REALLY have to be in the mood for it.
I'm a HUGE CSI & Law & Order fan (Original & SVU) and if you bother to call me while any of them are on I will ignore you if it's an episode I haven't seen before (my friends can attest to that). I also like "House," "Bones," and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
I'll read just about anything, but I tend to shy away from non-fiction and sci-fi/fantasy. As far as comics, I LOVE "Get Fuzzy" (Props to Darby Conley). My favorite authors include, Shakespeare (yes, I'm weird like that), Ernest Hemingway, Tim O'Brien (I highly recommend "The Things They Carried"), Nora Roberts (to indulge my romantic side), and Bob Hicok (poetry).
My sister, for facing cancer with a smile on her face & teaching the rest of us what "true faith" really means. You've strengthened me more than I can tell you.My Mom, because she had a tough life for awhile and came out ahead.
