2M Connect consists of 2 high school friends, Carlos aka C-los and Juan aka Sleepy J. Both, born and raised in Dallas, up until middle school when they moved to the mid-cities area. They met in high school and started focusing on music ever since. Throughout middle school and most of his high school career, C-los found an interest in poetry and decided he could put this talent to good use and started writing songs on his spare time. Being a DJ, Sleepy J, had an ear for music and thought he could make better music than what was on the radio. On their spare time they would get together and write songs. As they improved their writing skills, they started getting more serious about their music and started recording their ideas. As radio stations played more and more music that made no sense, they realized they had something they could bring to the table. Most so called "artists" are too desperate to make a club or radio hit that they forget what hip-hop/rap is all about, but 2M Connect brings a different style with a mean swagger. They combine great lyrics with great hooks and add beats that'll make you want to dance or nod your head. They are unlike any artists out right now. They continue to make good music and sooner or later will be the next big artists out of DFW.
