Stickman

About Me

Stickman are:
Karl guitar+vox
Steve bass+vox
Ron guitar+noise
Phil drums

The band began in Newcastle, NSW in early 1989.

The songs on this site were recorded with a Tascam 2488 at Karl's step-dads house in Stroud, NSW. Apart from the pedals and all the other plug-ins the guitarists use, no effects were added during the mix. It was all recorded one-take as a band, with only the vox and occasional guitar tracks recorded separately. This encapsulates the "what you hear is what you get" philosophy, and its as close to a live sound as we can get.

There is still work to be done on the songs, but we are pretty chuffed with the sound.

If you are passing through, have a listen to our stuff and let us know what you think.
