The name True vibes is true, to its name for the simple fact the vibes, we create, and the atmosphere we bring to you, is true to the vibe!
That’s why only true party people, know what true vibes, are all about!!!!
If you can, remember the vibes, from the old skool dayz. Then you would know all about the Truevibes of those days. I started partying back in 1987, when acid hit London in a big way and the parties were all underground, the best place to be, was the Harp club in the new cross. ANOTHER wicked acid club I also loved going to the Hacienda club which is now a hotel, in Manchester, still doing the underground raves, travelling up to Manchester in the beginning of 1988. Then, came along the summer of love, warehouse parties, fields raves helped, with the support of pirate stations, such as sunrise 88:75 and centre force 88:3!!
Who gave out, info about the meeting points, where RAVERS, we would meet up on the m25, waiting to hear, where the next meeting point would be.
There were so many cars parked up keeping it locked to the radio, to find out, were the rave was going to be! Before the boys in blue would stop us raving, and shut it down the rave. (What a buzz) getting there before the boys in blue would find the rave! And most of the time, it worked so well, when it worked. Ravers from all over the UK, would meet up to party until the sun came up, it’s was crazy!! Cause all we wanted to do was dance. We were all united as one feeling the true vibes of 1988 the summer of love. Back in 1988 is when I first started dancing at events!
The vibes which rolled across the UK was such a happy loving caring vibe, with smiling happy faces!
Must big up Sunrise and Centre Force, two stations that were big in the day, of 1988!! Must give BIG respect out to Ellis Dee the Rat Pack, Dj Ellie, BadBoyWest, Andy M, Peter Stapleton, Jim Jim the music man, and many more.

Must Big up Ellis Dee, Kenny ken and the Rat Pack, who are still going strong today 20years later.
South London was a mad place to party in 1988, because the boys in blue would always try so hard to close down the illegal Raves. Biology started in Greenwich creak rd the old snooker hall, there was a club raided, which I will never, forget that nite, it’s was all over the news, the tunnel club the mitre pub by the foot of the black wall tunnel south side, what a mad nite that was!!!
Clifton rise new cross under the harp club, where Labrynth did an underground rave, must say thanks to Ellis Dee who put me on the guest list, that nite, as he was playing there! That’s when I meet Joe & sue from Labrynth!
Silver city wood green labrynth, rave of the cave under the arches Elephant & castle, l will always remember that lorry on the dance floor. It was such a shame because the boys in blue would always be knocking on those doors,
Dingwells Camden lock, Bass@ the dungeons off lea bridge rd, Clapham common on a Sundays mornings by the windmill pub! A car would turn up with decks in the back of the car! Dj spinning tunes from the car! Big up the felas with the car can’t remember you’re your name sorry!
It was wicked, Ravers would meet there on the Clapham common, dancing to the tunes from the car! Keeping there weekend vibe going.
Who remembers Hypnosis, Downham Tavern, Rat city, Heaven, Rain Dance, Dance Party, World Dance, Maggie’s tea Party, Jack in the box, Freedom to Party, energy field raves,
