PARCHED aRT is the beautiful collaboration of work produced by artists Porl Thompson and Andy Vella. Together they were the driving force behind the art for most of The Cure's album covers , merchandise designs and several other endeavours .;)
Porl graduated from West Sussex College of Design where he studied graphic design, illustration and photography. He moved to London in 1982 and began his Parched Art Design company with co- founder Andy Vella. Andy graduated from the Royal College of Art with an M.A. in graphic design in 1985. Andy is currently a Lecturer at Middlesex University teaching graphic Design to Undergrads for the last 4 years. He is also working on website design, editorial photography, and preparing canvases for a solo show this spring.
