The Original Meek Millz, the formerly incarcerated member of NAAM Brigade had to began serving a several year sentence days after shooting the video for title track on the 2002 ArtistDirect release "Early in the Game," featuring Freeway. When Millz hit the streets he hit the studio with a vengeance, releasing Zip Gang Affiliates Vol.1 mixtape, reuniting with his team and began plotting his return. He recorded a few albums worth of songs with producers from coast to coast. Before releasing a highly anticipated solo album for the masses, The Original Meek Millz recorded The Fathom (the double mixtape) to release some anger at the state of the rap game in Philly and worldwide. Intent on bringing East Coast lyricism back but with some that down south crunk, The Fathom is 49 tracks of heat. The frustration in trying to do the right thing in the midst of obstacles and haters combined with the lack of respect these youngins been showing for Hip Hop and the veterans that paved the way, caused Millz to go hard in a way that will make most of these DVD rappers look soft.THE FATHOM!!!
