Jayde

Jayde is a muli-talented, all-around performer. At the age of three, she got the bug to entertain, and since then, has performed as a dancer, drummer, actress, and singer. This young artist strives to reach the hearts of people world-wide. “My goal is to make people feel good through my art: make them feel understood, comforted, loved, and as if they’re not alone. We’re all in this crazy world together, being faced with a lot of the same obstacles. And yet, it’s easy to feel like you’re the only one going through what you’re going through.” On September 11, 1988, Jayde was born in Orange County, California. Her loving parents, Mark and Tatsumi Gonzalez, are extremely supportive in all of Jayde’s endeavors. “My parents are awesome! When I first wanted to perform, they didn’t question me at all. They weren’t like ‘Are you sure this is what you want to do?’ They just kind of go with the flow and help me out in any way they can. Gotta Love ‘em!” In 1991, Jayde began her entertainment career dancing. “Ha. Funny story how that happened: My mom and I were at a car wash, and I saw a dance studio next store. Something about it really made me want to go in there. So I dragged my mom over there, and bells went off in my head. I saw all the dancers, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to be on stage and perform. My mom signed me up for classes immediately. I’ll never forget the feeling of the first show. It was amazing!” Within the art of dance, Jayde has trained in ballet/point, jazz, modern, lyrical, and hip hop. Musically, Jayde learned to play drums from N*Sync drummer, Billy Ashbaugh. “Oh my gosh! I love Billy!! He’s an incredible musician! And an awesome teacher!” As a drummer, she played in a band called Arctic Fire. Also in that time, she was, and still is, training with vocal coach, Ginny Kopf. Jayde had the honor of performing as a guest artist for the band, New Direction. At the age of 15, Jayde started attending acting workshops and classes. She was cast in commercials for Brighthouse Networks, Central Bank, Florida United Arts, and more. She also did a short tour with Cirque Du Sole as a Geisha. This young, multi-talented, California native, holds the intention of touching the hearts of many. Jayde strives to fill those hearts with love, light, and hope. “If I can make a difference in someone’s life, then that’s all I could ever truly ask for.”
