A long time ago when I was living in Warner Robbins Ga. I met A young man he was 18,I was 15 His name was Bruce Brookshire. He Played in a group named Roundhouse. I thought I knew everything about guitar and told him this and he was real nice. He let me sit down and play what I thought was my best, and I thought I had him, then he said that WAS PRETTY GOOD AND BEGAN TO PLAY. I felt so small at that point, but I kept comming back, I met a lot of people through Bruce,Bobby and Herman. Not to mention Ed Stone. I met the people from Stillwater, mainly mike from whom I learned to play slide. I learned many things from Bruce and for that I will always thank Him. My Ga. days were the best time in my life, and Im sorry I had to leave and miss all my wonderful friends. So to all the wonderful People I have met in my lifetime Thank you.....Ed
Life is not easy for a musician, only a few ever make it big. Sometimes its a long and hard way of life. Thats why we try to fill it full of little moments that we hold dear. Lonely is the man who has no music in his heart. People come into our lives and leave, but our music will always be there to comfort us.
