Currently I am living and DJing in Chicago for the last 3-4years. Those of you that know me know that my roots and hometown originate from Dublin, Ireland.I started picking up DJing almost 12 years ago as a hyped up raver big into the club scene living in Dublin. Starting out with an introduction to the art form with a set of ‘Citronic Clouds’ which were nothing more than a ‘All-In-One DJ Unit’ .Funny shit. I progressed onto bigger and better things thanks to my good partner in crime Rory, who was the instigator for purchasing a decent set of tables at the time. Unfortunately Rory lost interest but ones things for sure….. I was hooked!Coming from a fruitful musical background my dance music tastes have varied over the years. Originally moving from M.C to D.J. I was big into the Happy Hardcore & Jungle/Drum&Bass scene which was alive and kicking in Britain at the time.The earlier years of dance music in the very early 90’s is still very close to my heart. Heavily indulged in bands like THE PRODIGY, CHEMICAL BROTHERS, LEFTFIELD, UNDERWORLD and DJ's like SEDUCTION, CARL COX, SLIPMATT, and DJ HYPE.They all played a hugh part in transforming me as a DJ. My interests and tastes eventually moved to the more predominant sounds of SASHA&DIGWEED, JEFF MILLS, DAVE CLARKE, LAURENT GARNIER, FELIX DA HOUSECAT, PAUL OAKENFOLD, PETE TONG and DARREN EMERSON, the list is endless. I established a long time obsession with Techno and House but finally resided with my current style of choice, House music.I have DJ’d in many clubs in Dublin and around the country taking in cities Galway and Limerick.Ive spun in places like TIVOLI, SPIRIT, GPO, MONO, EAMON DORANS, THE VIPER ROOMS, THE VAULTS, ISACC BUTTS, SPYBAR, VIVA, BLUENOTE, RED ROOMS and many more parties I care to remember.These days I spin a mix of FUNKY HOUSE, DEEP HOUSE, ELECTRO HOUSE ,CLASSIC OLDSKOOL & just about anything else I can splendor together to make the room shake. Since moving to Chicago I soon learned the dominant force in nitelife for the U.S. is HipHop/RnB. Adding that to one of my weekly resident gigs I’ve picked up a whole new formula of DJing in areas that were very much unexplored and off limits me. I’ve definitely extended the DJ skills portfolio in order to survive here in that area of the industry.Being new to the city it’s hard to get a decent footing but have managed to spin spots here such as BUNGALO (music-101), LE PASSAGE, CELEBRITY and EMPIRE LIQUORS. More importantly I have been holding down a current residency the last 3years at the infamous ELM STREET LIQUORS where you can catch me spinning Thursday through Saturday.My love for music is still very much a passion as is DJing. I haven’t had much time for studio work due to a hectic schedule but hopefully I will eventually venture into producing some of my own music. Remixing is definitely an area of interest to me at some stage. For now though you can get a feel for my work through my long list of mix cd's.I certainly inspire to make my mark!
