About Me

My name is Dawn and I'm originally from the west coast. Friends and family would probably describe me as outgoing, sarcastic, and reliable. I've lived in Nashville for the last eight years (almost nine) working in the music industry (which I LOVE), but wish I lived closer to the beach. The relationship with my "first love" recently came to an end (or at least it's on hiatus), so my new focus is re-discovering who I am, broadening my circle of friends, and figuring out what I truly want out of life.

My Current Motto: Stand up and be true to yourself. Everything else will fall into place.

I'd like to meet:

Fun, adventurous, outgoing people who know how to have a good time. I love to laugh, so if you're quick-witted and have a sarcastic sense of humor...even better.

Lyrics

Music:

Music embodies feeling without forcing it to contend and combine with thought, as it is forced in most arts and especially in the art of words. - Franz Liszt

Where words fail, music speaks. - Hans Christian Andersen

Movies:

Comedy (who doesn't love a good laugh), Psycological thrillers or suspense, Drama, Feel Good, Documentary, etc. I'm not a huge fan of Horror.

Television:

Reality TV shows, The L Word, Anything with sarcastic humor like Friends or Will & Grace, Old 80's and 90's re-runs, Medium, Psychic Detectives

Books:

I go through stages. Sometimes I read a ton, and then I won't read anything for a few months. I love poetry and writers who offer insightful views on life. I'm intrigued by non-fiction and fiction alike. When I'm really into a book, I can't put it down.

Heroes:

“A major rule you forgot, Roles. Every game we play, we slip into a role, a game identity with which to play. We decide we're rescuer, victim, leader-with-all-the-answers, follower-without-a-clue, bright, brave, honorable, crafty, dull, helpless, just-trying-to-get-along, diabolical, easygoing, pitiable, earnest, careless, salt-of-the-earth, puppetmaster, comic, HERO ... we choose our role by whim and destiny, and we can change it anytime we want.” - Richard Bach
