Ovarian Cancer Awareness

I am here for Networking

About Me

I am a 25 year old Registered Nurse and Cancer Survivor. I started this page as a way to get the word out to as many young women that I can, with all the Breast Cancer Awareness and pink ribbons out there it is also important to remember Ovarian Cancer.
Ovarian Cancer is called the Silent Killer because in many cases the signs and symptoms do not appear until the cancer is in the late stages. The good news is that there is effective treatment for ovarian cancer, as long as it is detected early.
This site is not meant to scare or worry people, but to raise awareness and educate women so they know the signs and symptoms in order to be diagnosed early. So please, browse the information available and most importantly - spread the word.
Thank You,
Meg
