I'm a drummer, need I say more?
Very well, then. Originally from the 'burbs of D.C., I moved to bama for school in '84 and well...i kinda just stayed. I'm married to a beautiful, sexy, and talented singer. I've got 2 kids from my first marriage. Ian is 16 and is a great kid. He is smart, funny and very laid-back. His sister, Avery is 12. She is something else!! Already at 12, she is a knockout. She is this tiny ball of continual energy. She is bright and has a warm heart. I've been a singer and musician all my life, but it was at age 10 when my true nature burst forth. I got my first drum kit. It was love at first bang. Since then, I've learned guitar and piano, mostly for composition. But drums was and always has been my first love and true calling. I've been playing around the B'ham area since '86. I have been in the bands Concrete Cactus, Black Light District, Denovo, and Damaged Goods. Currently, I am playing guitar and keyboards in Down To 3, a little quasi-acoustic act with Julie and guitarist "Mild" Bill Harvey. But, never fear...The Artful Drummer WILL return anon. Julie, Bill and I found a great lead guitarist Greg Gorman(aka The Doctor) and are on the hunt for the elusive bassist to round out the group. Keep your eyes and ears open...Look for the glare of lights reflecting off my Zildjian cymbals...Listen for the jungle rhythm...UPDATE: THE BASS PLAYER HAS ARRIVED!!!! AND WHAT A BASSIST HE IS...A FANTASTIC PLAYER, AND A NICE GUY TO BOOT. WE ALL WELCOME WAYNE DUCK INTO THE FOLD!!!!!!!UPDATE #2: THE DOCTOR HAS LEFT, WHY? WE SURELY DON'T KNOW. HOWEVER, MILD BILL HAS STEPPED UP AND IS DOING A MAGNIFICIENT JOB!!! LOOK OUT FOR US WE ARE...EMBER!!!!!
