About Me

Welcome to the official Rob Fabrie MySpace. He is one of the key figures in the underground Dutch dance scene. Some of his best known projects are ,Headbanger, Holy Noise, Waxweazle, Gizeh and last but not least DJ Rob Fabrie.
On his official website you can find Rob’s bio and all kinds of info on his releases. Also you’ll find gadgets like wallpapers and screensavers. Do not hesitate to leave a message in the Feedback section.
It all comes from the same source.
It all started in 1990 with Holy Noise the first record Father forgive them. After this one came Get down everybody, James Brown is still alive and The nightmare. Holy Noise was succesful throughout the world.
Then Rob went on to do his Somebody from Rotterdam project and developed his own style. In 1994 ID&T gave rob his own label Waxweazle Vinyl that was hugely successful and had 30 releases. Hits like Legs, Spread your wings, Pump it dj, Brainscan, Hardcore power and many more where made. U could see the wax logo on many merchandising items and Rob played throughout the world as Waxweazle.
After this period Rob went on to do other styles also. Gizeh was a hugely succesful trance project from him and he remixed a lot of the big names. Meanwhile Rob also did hardhouse productions under names like DJ Rob Fabrie,Fab Flavour,Bushwankaz and many more. Those records also did very well.
But his roots where revisited by starting up his Headbanger project. Hits like Sweet dreams( You bastard ), Headbangers theme , No law and many many more were made. Nowadays his Headbanger project is one of the key elements in his career and also spawned a side project called Alienator. With hits like Prey,Strike and Causin Panic this project is also very succesful.
With an interest in all kinds of dance music his career is far from over. So be ready for any future releases!!
Headbanger story so far:
Sweet dreams( you bastard ): This is where the banging starts! Released in 1998 still considered a classic. Followed by The nightmare man and No law.
After that it was time for Rob to hit the studio with his 2 former mc’s of Holy Noise( Alee and Ruffian ). The result was headbanger’s theme. A huge hit and an absolute classic still played today.
Then the switch to megarave was made and rob started working with RTC and Paul Elstak resulting in hits like: Bangin your fist, Pandemonia, Your mother sucks cocks in hell and Fuck him.
Megarave gave Rob the opportunity to make 2 albums resulting in succesful tracks like: Strike, Are u afraid of the dark, Violator, Danger, This is war, At large etc.
The story still continues, so be sure to watch out 4 new releases!!!
The alienator invasion begins:
We are the prey are the first words u hear from the Alienator in 2001. Prey quickly becomes a hit and we’re off. Followed by an collaboration with Headbanger resulting in: Strike, This is war. After that Alienator is wrecking the place with the dancefloor killer Causin’panic. A hit both in and out of this world. Followed by War of the worldz. Many more tracks are expect from this alien entity, so keep watching the skies...
