The Jonno & The Zilberfish Little Big Band is an eight-piece Swing and Jump Blues band hailing from Canberra, Australia's home of public servants, fireworks dealers and a few Jazz musicians. This band represents all of the above.
With influences ranging from Tom Waits to the three Louis' (Armstrong, Jordan and Prima, of course!) Jonno and his Zilberfish have fast developed a reputation as one of Canberra's most exciting and popular live party bands.
The band features popular Australian touring Blues artist Jonno 'Zilberfish' Zilber on Guitar and Vocals. He is joined in the rhythm section by 'The Prince of Keys' Leo Joseph on Piano & Hammond Organ, Peter 'I Can't Believe It's Not' Barta on Upright Bass and 'Mighty' Mitch Preston on Drums. The Zilberfish horns feature 'The Man of Many Bands' Cameron Smith on Trumpet, 'Zilberfishing' Rod Harding on Trombone and horn arrangements, Max 'Li'l Max & His Big Sax' Williams on Tenor Sax and the man with no conceivable nickname, Tom Fell on Alto Sax.
