The Director, Vasilis Kanellopoulos is born in Athens. He studied at the Art Theatre of Carolos Koun from which he graduated in 1986. He took part in performances given by his School in Greece and abroad. In 1987 he has founded the Theatrical Group Irakliou, in Iraklion Attica (a district outside Athens) and after that in two years time he has founded the Theatrical Group Schedia. Meanwhile all these years he provides his services as a tutor (an instructor) for actors and helps new directors, stage designers and musicians. He aims to try and create a new personal language of performing in theatre since the limitations between theatre and cinema-multimedia are vague.The Photographer, Vasilis Kanellopoulos has also a great amount of work to present after his engagement with photography. He has several units of work under specific subject (Berlin, sky and clouds above Berlin, reflections, faces/portraits, sceneries in Greece, persons, and more). Also took part in exhibitions or artistic happenings in Athens, where he exhibited his photos.
