About Me

Here's a bit about myself...
I try to laugh at life, and believe a sense of humor is key! I am animated and fun, but can also be very serious and often quite intense. It is important to me to be myself, and I enjoy the company of genuine, sincere people...short of that, I truly dislike most folks.
I am a self-professed news junkie; politics are my reality TV. I dig on European cars and BMW and SCCA club racing (BMWCCA White Mountain Chapter member), Jeep Wranglers and offroading, turntablism and producing hip-hop / electronic / experimental music, 420, photography, good films, video games (Xbox Live gamertag: Mertz MHz), 50’s kitch and the diner scene, low-key gatherings, concerts and clubs, the great outdoors, camping and mountain biking, and all kinds of out-of-the-way places.
I live with the lovely Dr. Girlfriend, who not-so-coincidentally is pictured in my Top Friends (see below), in Pembroke, NH. I act as Treasurer of my Condo Association, and hope to soon hold public office. I have my degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and am currently enrolled in the Accounting degree program at NHCTC in Manchester. I also own and operate Dying Youth Productions, which is an independent multimedia production studio. I will be venturing into motorsports photography beginning Spring '07 as well. Hence, I am all about Apple and all things Mac; been down since '91...
Here's a bit about my music:
I make music for the love of making music. That's it. I do not dream of performing in front of 15 people, let alone 15,000 screaming Eminem fans. I played in Hardcore bands throughout high school; had my fill. I do not dream of getting rich from making beats, and do not dream of fame or street cred. So unless you wanna get down for a little studio project or something...
This is my studio set-up: (2) Apple Mac G4's (1 on OS9.2.2 / 1 on OSX10.3.9) w/ LaCie Blue Pro display, Apple Mac iBook G3 (10.3.9), Reason 3.0, ReCycle 2.7, ReBirth, Cubase 4.0 VST, ProTools LE, Ableton Live 5, Mackie Traktion, Tascam US-122 audio interface, Boss BR-864 digital multitrack recorder, Behringer Truth reference monitors, Edirol PCR-A30 MIDI controller, Novation X-Station25 synth/audio interface/USB controller, custom cherry Korg MicroKORG synth, Roland MC-09 DSP analog modeling synth, Roland MC-307, Korg KP2 Kaoss Pad, Roland EF-303, Boss SP-303 Dr. Sample, Stanton STR8-100 turntable, Sony MDR-V700DJ headphones, Behringer 5-ch DJ mixer, a couple of decent condenser mics and numerous cheap mics, 1986 Epiphone SG Sheraton electric guitar, 1998 Fender Jazz bass, numerous effects pedals, an old bent Yamaha FM synth with MIDI, American DJ CD turntable, Fender PA head & stage monitors, stacks-o-wax, and a handful of weird toys...

Sounds Like: I like to make mad business beats to enjoy while doing jobs for the mob... Sounds like Electronic-influenced Hip-Hop beats from the dark side, with murderous Sci-Fi analog madness; all the while seeking talented MC's from outerspace to rhyme over them.

/// I had not posted my beats on this site for A LONG TIME for various reasons, but I finally cracked... There are no vocals on any of my tracks, so if you're an MC and you dig on some abstract ish, then let's hook up and see if things click.

/// MC's from outerspace are encouraged to submit specimens. Please contact [email protected] to colaborate.
