No one EVER reads these, but if you are here it goes...Seems like I was always playing drums at some point. I started drumming in the 3rd grade. Back then I noticed my friend was getting out of class at school to go to 'band' (he played the viola), I wanted to get out of class too, but I wanted to play something else..not the violin...or clarinet...or, so I played drums! Which led me down the path of a fun and interesting life, not to mention challenging. In the following years I played snare drum in the Velvet Knights Drum & Bugle Corps; studied jazz with Ashley Alexander; studied orchestral percussion at Cal. St. University Fullerton (where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music) and of course playing Rock 'n Roll since the '70's, I've been performing professionally for over 25 years. Some gigs to my credit are; toured with Atlantic Records recording artist Steve Tyrell; backed up recording artists Alejandro Pena & Diego Torres on the Latin Grammy Music Awards on ABC (w/ Lula & Afro Brazil); played drums for the Tim Robbin's Actor's Gang musical production of "How To Steal An Election"; I'm currently MDing for virtuoso flautist Suzanne Godfrey on the Queen Mary 2 on crossings from NYC to the UK. I do alot of studio work for local artists (which you can check out here on my MySpace page). And check out my "videos" too if you want. I like Italian food, I study karate and like watching "Law & Order" re-runs . The tunes here on my MySpace page are of past projects I've played drums on - and on the "Reverbnation" player below.
