The Bayonne Bleeders/Mike Mullane & Friends

About Me

Member of The Bayonne Bleeders(Mike Mullane on guitar and lead vocals, Jay Santoro on the drums, Joe Saroshinsky on bass and vocals), the Spirit Of 76(Steve Moser on guitar,Phil Higgins on bass,P.J. Pisa on drums(R.I.P. 12/24/2005), and Mike Mullane on guitar and vocals), The Traveling Cunanans(Too many members to list and it wouldn't do any good anyhow because they are always changing),and D.F.N.J.(Nick Signoretta on drums, Phil Higgins on bass, and Mike Mullane on guitar and vocals). I've played in bars, basements, and in traffic outside of the Holland Tunnel while a busload of Japanese tourists mistakingly took me for someone they should be taking a picture of. Jay Santoro and Joe Saroshinsky have played in many bands including Chubby Richard over the years. Jay is a master at every instrument known to man and a can make Britney Spears sound like Sarah McLachlan in the studio. Joe is an original founding member of the Hired Guns M.C. worldwide and an old friend who I've played with for years. John Devlin is an old school Tequila drinker and who has been a member of The Lost Souls for the past 20 years. Steve was listening to the Misfits when he was 2 months old. He should be a talent scout for a living because he knows about good music 3 years before any of us know about it. Phil has been playing bass for as long as I can remember and I've known him since he was born. He drove me to buy my first guitar - a white Epiphone SG - when I was a teen in an old school GTO that was louder than an airplane. We drove down and got it from that big Freehold Music store on route 9 figuring that it would have some Springsteen ghosts in it. P.J. grew up next door to Steve in the Jersey City Heights and became our drummer for the hell of it. He had zero experience and learned in a month. When P.J. passed on, Phil told me he wanted to keep playing and that Nick liked our songs. Good enough. Nick and Phil had some notable success while playing in the hardcore outfit J.Y.D. before they broke up several years back. Nick's drumming skills speak for themself. The Traveling Cunanans has about ten steady members. There are also about twenty other members who come and go as they please. Few of them play instruments but all play an important role in the songwriting. The more they laugh, the more we write. We all work several jobs, play music for laughter and therapy, and are appreciative of the fact that you took time out your life to read this.
