In keeping with the carnival atmosphere, the highlight of the show was the inclusion of two aerialists, “The Slavic Sistersâ€, who performed an Aerial Silks routine suspended over the the main floor crowd during the song, “C'est ce laâ€, a manic, rocked-up, Slavic-style polka. Aerial silks are two long pieces of fabric on which the performers climb, wrap themselves in and around, while performing a series of acrobatic poses, dance moves, and gasp inspiring drops and twists. by ~ Frick!
