homeschooling, reading, cooking, I'm great in the kitchen, tho I would like a bigger one. I'm always on the look-out for my dream home w/ eat-in kitchen. However, I do make a mean "Pollo y Orzo". Also, I'm really good turning leftover 12 grain something into today's 9 bean whatever. I also love to help people and have a meal-bringers organization called LAMB. Just another way to celebrate His love! I also enjoy keeping my home an inviting place for others to stay, whether it be a Katrina victim family to stay in our modest finished basement, our local Dr. to find rest while under temporary stay in our home, or multiple exchange students who teach us about our world. PRAISED BE!!
Other homeschooling moms (but NOT stay-at-home-dads---get a job!!!) people who have had tragedies and need meals or help, NOTE: any of these situations do NOT make you unable to breastfeed!) anyone trying to convince their dh to transfer the family to a foreign country for 2 years, any midwife (licensed or not, pref not) who takes people labeled as high risk who aren't actually, tho "society" (the ACOG) labels them so. And as a side note, I just have to say that in regards to whom I would like to meet, I do not have ANY more room in my life for more friends. Contrary to popular belief, I just don't need anyone else. I have very good friends (one that I'm especially thinking about right now) that really "do the job" when need be. However, if you are into late night pranking, or happen to have insomnia most weeknights, ; ) I'm your girl!!
anything that "has a rythm" or that I can "tap a toe to". But the sound that truly brings joy to my heart is hearing my ds's banging on our second-hand keyboard. I have a large collection of Christian music that I keep flowing throughout our house...transcending throughout our lives. My husband is an avid guitar player, and greatly enjoys a night out every once a year in January to see one of his favorite musicians. I cannot say that this doesn't interfere with a certain birthday, but we get through it...we always do!

Television really is evil, and we don't let the kids watch it. They have no concept of what "tele tubbies" or "arthur" are, and I'm proud of that. Sometimes, however, I catch that PBS reality show about a family living in a 1800's life, where they have no menstrual pads or running water. (the only 2 things that stop me from applying) Oh wait!! and some episodes of Maury. Oh wait!! and every Discovery Health show. Oh wait!! anything having to do with dwarfism or sad childhood disabilities, disfigurements or diseases. Oh wait!! past obsessions have included Real World and Road Rules Challenges. But I swear, if it weren't for the REALLY good deal we just got, we would NEVER have cable. ever. esp. if it weren't for the really good deals we seem to get all year round. but really, I'm against it.
You name it, I've read it AND the sequel! I'm at the library more often than you wipe your ass!
