Colene Walters

Hello Myspace People, I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. I Started singing in clubs all over the metro Detroit area and Canada when I was 17. I moved to Nashville in "90" with my Daughter Allison and have done demo's for various publishing companies and Sang in Porter Wagonger's band as well as Johnny Russel's band. I am proud to have been a part of the 'Grand Ole Opry" for several years and have done many Television apperences on The Nashville Network. Now I make my home in Iowa. I know....Iowa? how did I get here. Long story. I work with some of the best talent in the Midwest. I sing with 2 sisters that have amazing voices, Jill Miller and Barb Johnson. I also am the new lead singer of Iowa rock n roll famers "The Magnificent Board of Directors". I am one of the vocalists for "Rockestra" as well. I perform a tribute show of the late great Patsy Cline, I dress up and try to become her in my shows. she was awesome! I also work in a coulple duet shows with Mike Timmer (The Whitesidewalls) or C.J. furman. I have found out recently I have a love for beatboxing. I am working on my new craft. LOL... But seriously I love to beat box. My Daughter is now a singer in Nashville and she is doing very well, I am so proud of her. I have a 3 year old Grandson that I adore and always look foward to seeing. My Siblings all live in Michigan and I talk with them all the time. My Mother just passed away a couple months ago, so it has been a sad time. But I do know that she is reunited with my dad. Take care everyone and God bless you all. Colene "Coco" Walters !!!
