SOULVEIN (R.I.P.)

The band was founded in 2004 and named Desperate Cry. After performing in Studio Live, Dorock Bar and Rockstar, the band started to compose its own music. In 2007, the band changed its vocal and bass guitarist. The band set its stuff with Halil and Melih for guitars, Gökhan for bass guitar, Aytek for drums and Onur for vocals. The band, whose members signifies Progressive tones in their music understandings, changed its name to Soulvein and in April,2007 performed its first concert. After a while the band broke with drummer Aytek and in August,2008 begin to work with Özgür for drums. After a-year-break the band started to perform again and the audience gave positive reactions to tones of Soulvein. The band now started to record the demo which includes songs such as Living on the Edge, The Blood is Ours, Black Lies and Certain Awake and the demo was planned to put on the market in March,2009.

2004 yılında Desperate Cry adıyla kurulan grup; Studio Live, Rockstar, Dorock Bar gibi mekanlarda sahne aldıktan sonra beste çalışmalarına başladı ve bu süre içerisinde vokalist ve bas gitarist değişikliği yaparak 2007 yılında gitarlarda Halil ve Melih, bas gitarda Gökhan, davulda Aytek ve vokallerde Onur olarak kadrosunu belirledi. Müziğinde progresif öğelere büyük önem veren grup adını Soulvein olarak değiştirdi ve 2007 yılı Nisan ayında ilk konserini verdi. Daha sonra baterist değişikliği yapan grup Aytek’le yollarını ayırdı ve Özgür’ü 2008 yılı Ağustos ayında bünyesine kattı. Bir yıllık aradan sonra grup konser vermeye tekrar başladı ve bu konserlerinden olumlu tepkiler aldı. Grup 2009 Mart ayında çıkarmayı planladığı ve Living on the Edge, Blood is Ours, Black Lies ve Certain Awake gibi şarkılarının bulunduğu demonun kaydına başlamıştır.
