Stevie Dickinson

Stevie first started DJing around 8 years ago. After hearing DJ’s on the radio, and seeing the likes of Roger Sanchez and Eric Morillo live, his obsession with house music began. He gained confidence by playing at open decks nights, and entering local competitions and after winning one of them he decided to distribute demo’s out around the North East. This led to various gigs playing his own unique blend of house, being able to go from ‘Deep and Soulful’ to ‘Hands in the air’ Electro. Seeing him play alongside the likes of Alex P, Abigail Bailey, Andi Durrant, Neil Bentley, Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk, ATFC, Supafly, Marshall Jefferson and more. He also landed a guest mix on Galaxy Radio with Alistair Whitehead. For the past few years Stevie has been working as part of Fubar-Promotions as a resident DJ at many venues and also organising many successful events. I am starting to get into production now and have finished a few tracks and have more on the way, im producing under the name "S-FUNK" Have a listen to the tracks in the player and let me know what you think. The track 'My Way' has had local support and some label interest, also a big thumbs up and plays from Charlie Edwards (Hed Kandi). The Track has now been signed by Midwest Hustle Digital Records (USA) and will be featured on a forthcoming EP along with a remix of another track by me. New track i have just finished with Matty Innocent... FIRST THINGS FIRST is now up on the player. My latest Track "Dont Stop" will be released on Digital Insomnia Records early 2008.
