We are nine Americats: BlessingCat (BC), Funny Face, Peekaboo, Scorpio, "J," Freedom, Spirit, Peace and Wonder! (with the ! at the end of my name because there's a ! at the end of me). Six of us are black and white; two of us are solid black. BC is pewter grey and thinks she's special. We have a servant purrson who feeds and brushes us, cleans litter boxes, vacuums and anything else we need done. We keep her because she is very well trained and works for purrs and whisker kisses. We call her our "Hummy" (human mommy) because it makes her feel better about the situation around here.
She has been spending far too much time on the computer and we have not been receiving enough lap time. We have learned about politics and politicians lately, however, so we are advocating a take-over of the White House and Congress by Americats.
ANIMALS OF AMERICA UNITE!
A purrson named Gandhi said, "You must be the change you want to see in the world." Elect your own kind to represent you and your purrson in Washington. You know Americats will do a much better job than people when it comes to running this country. They should be ashamed of themselves in Washington for giving donkeys and elephants a bad name!
Because we are very democatic, we will allow other animals and human animal lovers to campaign and vote for us. Let's face it, humans come in handy every now and then. Our purrson even found a mad-dogging, caterwalling version of the national anthem that we can sing ... We may let her clean the litter boxes in the White House. It isn't easy to find good public servants in Washington these days, you know.
AMERICATS FOR AMERICA!
DEMOCATS, REPUBLICATS, ET AL.
"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
Mahatma Gandhi
