About Me

I'm just a guy who is looking for something to do right now, which is why I am currently signing up to this thing. I love basketball (especially the UNLV Rebels and Chicago Bulls), traveling, lots of music, partying, traveling, hanging out with cool people, reading, making money, writing, (what else?), smoking, photography, hiking, camping, outdoors, traveling to foreign 3rd world countries around the world, learning other languages, playing basketball, (damn....), girls, hanging out with friends, drinking occasionally, working (when I have a job), collecting odd shit, uhhhh, a lot more stuff but nothing I can really think of at the moment.

My Interests

damn... I think I just wrote about them! I love all sports, even football (soccer) but basketball is by far the best. I love to travel, especially outside USA. and I love all the other stuff I listed above.

I'd like to meet:

anyone who feels like dropping by, anybody who thinks I am not too lame for them to talk to, anyone who share any of my interests, anybody who's COOL.

Music:

All kinds. I grew up to punk and occasional ska, but got out of that "I can only like this type of music" phase fast. Now I like tons of shit esp. R&B, jazz, indie rock, pop, latin music (even reggaeton), hip hop as long as it doesn't involve "niggaz and bitches" (ie. good outkast) and anything else that sound cool to me.

Movies:

Don't watch too many movies but the best recent one I saw was Babel.

Television:

Havn't owned a TV, or watched any of those addictive, couch potato network TV shows for years, and i'm damn proud of it. The only time I watch TV is for sports events, and i've been watching a bit too much NBA playoffs lately, I am ashamed to admit.

Books:

I'm a history major so of course I love biographies of great historical figures, and historical books, also some novels ie. I loved The Beach, I like old Robert Ludlum books, Charlotte Simmons was awesome (by Adam Woolfe), and I am strangely addicted to Alistair Reynolds sci/fi books.

Heroes:

anyone who is independent enough to see through the hypocrisy of the Western dominated and controlled "free" world, and who is ballsy enough to go and see these so-called "oppressed, impoverished" countries for themselves. My SEAsian history teacher in college (forgot her name). Che Guevara, of course. Ho Chi Minh. Nelson Mandela. Hugo Chavez and Evo Morales (don't kill me please, and NO i'm not a communist either). The Palestinians. Lots of others, you know who you are.
