Producer, Engineer, composer, Musician
Born in Connecticut, from Puerto Rican parents Dennis B. Nieves has been an accomplished producer, programmer composer, and engineer for over fifteen years.ç 1985 as the lead singer for the R & B Canadian music group "Something Extra" Dennis produced his first single with the band, earning them The Juno Award Nomination for best R & B Single.
Much later, after extensive touring in Canada and the U.S.A, Dennis decided to move to Puerto Rico, where he would continue his career in music. 1993 Dennis joined the music singing group "Unik-ko" as lead singer and producer. Unik-ko was immediately signed under Sony Music where he spent the next five years, producing, composing and performing.
Dennis also participated in much of the writing of the albums which led to his hit song "Juntos" (duet with Yuri) co-written with Luis Enrique Mejia, this song hit the Billboard charts and gave Unik-ko the TV Novelas "Grupo Del Año" award.
Retired from singing, Dennis now has his own studio facilities and has written, and produced for Superstars such as Roselyn Sanchez, Olga Tañon, MDO, Luis Enrique, Son by Four, Hannah Jones and many more.
Dennis is also now known for his Remixes from House, Trance, Tribal and Hip Hop. Awarded the Gold & Platinum Records for Elvis Crespo "Suavemente" and "Pintame" Remixes. Dennis also has done many more Remixes for artist such as Jennifer Lopez, Celia Cruz (Hits Mix-Sony/Celia in the House-Universal), Franco De Vita, Shakira, Thalia, Luis Fonsi, Paulina Rubio, Chayanne, Jerry Rivera , Ricardo Montaner, Cabas and many more.
Dennis has finished several Remixes on the Celia Cruz "In the House" and the production engineering on the single "Amigo Mio" featuring Toño Rosario and Tego Calderon and is also presently working on various Reggeton projects including new artists such as "Trivales", “ Ana Alicia†and Goodfella..
