The first Producer & Composer of "Reggaeton" music without a paper & pen in "Laredo, TX" was me! If I am not mistaken "Reggaeton" music in "Laredo" was not listened to nor would they play it on the radio for that matter. In fact no one would put mind to this kind of music but now that artists like "Don Omar" & "Wisin y Yandel" made "Reggaeton" music into mainstream everybody wants to be a "Reggaetonista". But before "Don Omar" & "Wisin y Yandel" were superstars or icons I myself would already Compose & Produce my own track's. So what labels "El Gran Boliador" a "Reggaeton" artist if I am not even A Rican you say? Well that's easy you don't need to be a Rican to make Reggaeton, all you need are beats. For example I make my own "Reggaeton" beats, but it's easy for me since I've been producing & making music all my life. As an artists I had a choice of genre & I took "Reggaeton" music, why you ask? Well "Reggaeton" is the close's to my "Spanish" culture simple as that. To me It wouldn't sound right making Rap music when we come from a Bordertown that consist of a "Spanish" heritage, in other words I stick to what's close's to my root's, example I speak Spanish so Spanish it is. My music Is a unique mixture of "R&B", "Reggaeton", "Rap" & "Techno". In the studio I don't allow the use of paper or pen when in work. I feel that if its real music then it should be able to be expressed from the heart & soul & not from a paper full of ink that you read off of. I can say I am not a amateur but more like a professional...
