Pete Nouveau has come along way since securing his first gig back in 2000. He has been showcasing his skills in the biggest and most respected clubs in Sydney including Yu, Moulin Rouge, The Cross, Havana, Arq, and So-Ho just to name a few, playing along side some of the most famous names in the Australian dance scene. He has also had the privilege of supporting international dj's Spencer Parker, Ben Watt, Dubfire, Stephan Bodzin, Stacey Pullen, Steve Rachmad and Richard Dinsdale.In 2004 he started writing and producing his own tracks. After playing around for a few years Pete got serious about his music. He finished his first full length track "You're Listening" in 2007 and was quickly picked up by german label Elektrotribe who had the track signed to their "Tech my house 2" compilation, released on the 20 May 2008. Since then Pete has gone on to remix tracks "Helpless In Remscheid" (Elektrotribe Records) and "Watch Your Step" (Low Pressings)
2009 is looking to be a big year for Pete Nouveau with his first EP "WHEN SOUNDS COLLIDE" out on Feb 19th through Elektrotribe and a second EP due out in May on the Beat Code Label.

Pete Nouveau did a noticed start on Elektrotribe with his track "You..re listening" released in 2008 on Tech My House 2 compilation. Pete has since then been producing to come up with his first full length EP : "When Sounds Collide". Pete..s style find his roots in a special mix of house and groovy minimal, which makes of his first EP an essential dancefloor piece. "When Sounds collide" gather 3 original production by Pete Nouveau : The "Minus" anthem, with an incredible lead line, "Nouvacaine" which is a pure dancefloor track. "We wandered into the side room for some Minimal Fuss DJ action, and those chaps were killing it. Every time i have seen this crew (and there always seems to be more than 2 of them) behind the decks, I am so entertained and excited by the hyped up way they love to play, and the massive grins they get on their faces after each mix.
