My name is Athena Mai however I have a million nicknames like Teena Beana, Beaners, Teeners, Sniffer, Beanie, Sweetie Pie, Teeny Beanie, etc. I am an American Pit Bull Terrier, papers and all. I was born on October 20th, 2000 in Moore, Oklahoma. My mom, Angelique, came to pick me up on Christmas Eve 2000. I've been with her ever since.
I love to meet new people, dogs, cats, any critters...although I have to admit birds should probably avoid me in person. Don't worry my feathered friends this is only MySpace!

Mom and I go on walks, to dog parks, and petstmart (one occasion) and I try to say "hello" to every person and dog that walks by. I'm shocked when the people don't want to say "hello" back. I just want to give them a sniff and lick their hand. How can they say "no" to this face ;)

I have really bad allergies to both foods and things that are in the environment. My mom has figured out a few things that I have to avoid like wheat, eggs, corn, lamb, salmon, duck, trees, grass, mulberry, pollen, weeds, even mites! My allergies use to bother me alot more when I was younger but as I've gotten older they have gotten better. I think that's because mom figured out what works for me. I got allergy tested so I take allergy shots anywhere between 1 to 4 times a month. Just depends on the month. I also eat this great dog food with no by-products and human grade ingredients, it's called Canidae. It seems to be working really well. I feel great!!

I absolutely love to lay out in the sun. Unfortunately because I'm all white I am subseptible to sunburns. When you add in the fact I also have bad allergies...mom can't let me lay out that often. It's like my treat.

I have 2 feline roommates. My older brother is named Morpheus. Mommy adopted Morpheus as a kitten from Pet's and People in Yukon, OK in May 2007. They told mom he was a Turkish Angora mix. He looks completely Turkish Angora but he has one blue eye and one green. Cool huh! My little, little brother is Zephyr. Just after we all moved into our new place, Zephyr found us. Mommy gave him a home and now he's a member of the family, as of September 2008. They have a page together too!
They are both absolute lover boy's and that makes the moments of chaos worth it. I try to act like I don't like them but mom knows the truth about Morpheus and I because she catches us playing all the time. Like in this video below...she caught us. I love the little guy. Zephyr is still a little scared of me, but he's warming up slowly.
