My Interests

I enjoy exercise, biking, boxing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, working outside, eating, going places, watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, playing with my niece and nephew, and simply hanging out with good friends. I also enjoy going to see several of my musician friends perform, and taking many photographs of them.

Music:

My favorite is heavy metal, though not necessarily the newest stuff (I'm out of the loop for the most part, but some of the new stuff definitely sucks). My two favorite bands are Slayer and Queensryche, but I also dig Arch Enemy, Death, Morbid Angel, Pantera, Dream Theater, old-school Metallica, Fear Factory, Obituary, etc.I also like Rock in most of its flavors (hard rock, alternative, soft rock, oldies). I like SOME Rap and very little country (though I hear country quite often because one of my best friends loves it, and another best friend plays in a country band). I like classical music, too. I basically can appreciate most forms of music, especially if it has a beat.

Movies:

I like most genres of movies, espeically thrillers. Some of my favorites are the Star Wars saga, the Back to the Future trilogy, Contact, Seven, Goodfellas, The South Park Movie, Beavis and Butthead do America, Christmas Vacation, Bruce Lee movies, the X-Men movies, the original Batman, the new Batman, the original Superman 1 and 2, the new Superman, Spiderman, Jaws, The Game, The Exoricst, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Jurassic Park, V for Vendetta, Mystic River, Stir of Echoes, Poltergeist, Dumb and Dumber, Tommy Boy, Happy Gilmore, Ace Ventura, etc.....

Television:

I like a variety of programs including comedies, dramas, and documentaries. I love the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel, especially shows about snakes, sharks, elephants, or big cats.My favorite shows are 24, NYPD blue, Seinfeld, Nip Tuck, Smallville, Friends, Married...With Children, Three's Company, Old cartoons, Superhero cartoons, South Park, Beavis and Butthead, etc.

Books:

The DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Deception Point - Dan Brown;
I mostly read stuff on the Internet.

Heroes:

Yoda, Superman, and anyone who is honest, holds true to their values, has a strong work ethic, and who believes that the Federal Government is our mortal enemy.
