A raw and solid sound that consist of producer and DJ, Split Second and emcee QRoyal. high fidelty was formed six years ago after both memebers were affilated with a group called The Live Percent% had parted ways, leaving the two orphan with no alliance. Both having experience in the industry (Q working for Atlanctic Records as promotions rep, host of a popular local video show and recored two albums of his own as well as Split Second producing joints with production team The Rythmatics for 10 years) it was no problem rebuilding to establishing a plan to simply do the thing they love Hip Hop. Performing shows for the past three years the group finally released their album "Confindential Archives". The group hailing from Ohio has a deep passion for music not just for hip hop. The gutter sound reminds you of a young Gang Starr or DITC. Q's barritone flow captures the reality of everyday people with the struggles of poverty and the unanswered quesitons stemming from the war. Dont get it twisted the group is not limtied to just talking about issues of America, they also can punch you in the mouth with raw and uncut lyrical content as well. The motive is to not try to bring back hip hop cuz it ant gone no where but to contribute to this art form that has elevated so many people in the inner city and across the world.
