Em?ber [/'mbr] - burning fragment: small piece of glowing or smoldering material.
That small piece of smoldering material is starting to ignite, and will soon
reach a venue near you. Ember is one of the hottest names in modern rock.
Since their inception, Ember has performed at venues across Texas, the
Midwest, and Califonia. In the latter part of 2004 Ember recorded their
first EP "Take Everything" with the Pipes brothers(Drowning Pool), and were
immediatly requested in twelve regions across multiple states. Following the
release of the album, the band was offered a recording contract with a small
independant label, but declined the offer heeding the words of a fellow
friend and professional colleague, Justin Furstenfeld(BLUE OCTOBER).
They
have since recorded a follow-up E.P, titled "Under Pressure" under the
direction of Grammy award winning producer Sylvia Massy Shivy
(Tool, Deftones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Powerman 5000) at Radiostar
Studios in Weed California. "Under Pressure" boosted EMBER into the modern
rock market as one of the hottest up-and-coming bands. The band now calls
Austin, TX it's home and is currently working on their third EP. They have a
wide road of opportunity ahead of them paved by the masses of fans and that have brought them this far.
"Great band, great show,......you can expect alot from these guys."
-Justin Furstenfeld(Blue October)
"I don't know why these guys aren't signed and on every radio station
across the county"-Marshel Dutton(Faktion)
"I've been in radio since the 50's and was recently inducted into the radio
hall of fame, so I think I know good music when I hear it. Ember is a sure thing"
-Jack Auldridge(Founder of Regency Broadcasting)
"I was truely blown away by the power these guys have on stage with the crowd."
-Brian Howe(Bad Company)
"If you haven't heard Ember. You will." -Andrew Calhoun KSAN TV
"They are exactly what hard work and determination has made them to be and
enjoy nothing more than sharing their music and leaving the audience wanting
more. It is quite an experience." ñPaul Stafford (Steel Penny Pub)
The Dallas Morning News says: "They're smokin'"
"Lyrically and musically to me the music of Ember is for anyone who has ever been held down or defeated. It's like this volcanic buildup that all of us have inside when the world or people in it try to get or keep us down. Whenever you see that volcano explode on stage, you feel it in your gut, and it brings tears, pain, hope, relief and pure joy all at once. It's quite a unique experience and something everyone can relate to. This is why this band is so powerful and also why they will make it as far as they choose to go. I feel truly blessed to be a part of it."- J.Price (Ember Manager and owner of The Price Agency)
