About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI started rapping in '98. My cousin aka Describe was give an SP808 sampler. He started making beats and I wrote. Compiled a crew called "Vile Logix" with my homie jake aka Verb. Christian based hip-hop sent to spread knowledge of Christ and the wonderful gift of salvation. We completed two albums "Spiritual Virus" '99 and "The Language Of My Familiar" '01. We go around doing shows in the Sac and LA area. Recently I wanted to do my own thing, so I conjured up "Level With Me". My style is concious and subconcious. I'm still a christian emcee and remain thankful for Christ blood that was shed. That's why in the chorus to 'LOOK NO MORE' it says: "I am in blood stepping in it so far that should I look no more?". Abstract wordplay (sorry if it's difficult to understand) That's how I write, my bad. Anyways I hope you enjoy these tracks. You can learn a lot about me through them. "LEVEL WITH ME".I'm very emo. My style reflects my thoughts and views of this twister called life. I love the metaphor. You can metaphor anything you look at. I like comparing life to trees, the ocean, a garbage can etc. It makes me feel like I'm on top of the world, seeing it through 'the birds-eye-view'. Stretching your mind into the relm of unattainable LOGIC. I don't smoke weed. People think you have to be altered mentally to have an abstract thought. But that's not true. I think God wants us to think beyond what we're taught. Advance passed the 8% that they say we're allowed to exercise. I'm perfect with a grain of salt/ 'cause compared to someone else/ I have defects by default.I hope people can really understand what I'm saying in my lyrics. because there are a lot of layers there to peal. One thing I always get is "People are not gonna know what the hell you're talking about, mortis". And people get it right away. Fans respect you more if you're true to your style. and this is my style. ABSTRACT. I honestly can not write any other way. I apologize to those who can not feel me, because of my lyrics but I think if you listen long enough, something in there will hit you. I love all of you guys. Just keep on supporting me through this crazy experimental expression.

About "INSOMNIA"

This is a special song. I was writing this song for a week and had it in mind that I was not going to have a chorus, just one gigantic verse. After I finished writing it, I met up with my cousin to re...
