About Me

N-O Werks is the brand-name of producers (and engineer in Tim's case) Timothy Gerron and Brian Lee Sebastian; identifying musical projects produced both individually and/or collectively. N-O Werks is an independent and fully self-contained music production company whose sole mission is the pursuit of creative music; from pre-production, composition, arranging and sound design, through recording, mixing, post-production and mastering (by Tim Gerron locally and Allan Tucker @ Foothill Digital, NYC).

N-O Werks offers full recording services - via the Music Lab in soulful South Austin - utilizing both studio and large live-room recording spaces. In-house gear includes Pro Tools HD3 (- new console coming soon); API, AMEK 9098, Summit and Focusrite preamps; Neve 33609, DBX160sl, Urei 1176 and Focusrite Liquid Channel compressors; Nuemann, Sennheiser, Coles, AKG, Shure and Audio Technica microphones; and a huge selection of vintage gear including Hammond B3 & Leslie, Wurlitzer, Fender Rhodes and many other classic keyboards, amplifiers, effects - Space Echo ;-) - and drums. N-O Werks also maintains a dedicated rehearsal/pre-production space.

N-O Werks sessions have featured a notable roster of local and national musicians, including our partners Donny Silverman and Malcolm Welbourne (the indefatigable Papa Mali), the ever-inspirational Michael J. Smith, accordion virtuoso y amigo primero Joel Guzman, and featured players Rick G. Nelson (Polyphonic Spree, Mandrake Project); Chris Maresh (Eric Johnson); David Phelps (John Zorn, Public Enemy); Texas guitarist Chris Duarte; the ubiquitous Brannen Temple (Blaze, Leni Stern, Chaka Khan, etc.); woodwinds artist Alex Coke (Willem Breuker Kolletief); NYC trumpet extraordinaire, Brian Groder (Sam Rivers); Barry "Frosty" Smith; Landis Armstrong; Ephraim Owens; bassist/tuba player William Landin (Jimmy LaFave, Guy Forsythe); Russ Ferante (Yellowjackets); Bruce Salmon (Alejandro Escovedo) ; Glenn Fukunaga (Bob Dylan, Dixie Chicks, Joe Ely, etc.); multi-instrumentalist Aaryn Russell, and once again, Donny Silverman (Townes Van Zandt, Golden Arm Trio).

All inquiries welcome - drop us a line.
