Who am I?....
We are so quick to assume & define the nature of "I"....the nature of "self". But how can one be so sure of an identity? A wise consciousness knows that existence is grounded in perception. Something as benign as a coil of rope can just as easily be mis-perceived to be a poisonous snake. Existence is dependent on perception. Nothing exists of its own accord. So too is the nature of self.
Ultimately, it is an excercise in futility for me to define my selfhood.
Because who *I* am is dependent on who *YOU* are....and what *YOU* perceive. One will see me as friend, another will see me as foe.
You ask me who I am, and I ask you.... what do you see?
