Damon was born in Dallas, Tx in 1982. His family moved to Jamestown, NY when he was a young child. His parents divorced, and his father moved back to Dallas when Damon was a young teen. His mother couldn't handle raising three teens by herself, and Damon was sent to live with his father. He has bounced back and forth from both cities since. In 2000, D-Lyrix picked up the pen and started writing raps. Since then the artist has been working at perfecting his craft while dealing with legal problems, raising three sons, and pursuing an education. D-Lyrix has rapped with many MCs over the years and decided to stop messing with DISLOYAL, and non Dedicated individuals. He is now with a team who takes music seriously and is ready to take over the game.
