Welcome to Ashley Mackey and Worship page .God gave this young lady by the name of Ashley Mackey a vision. She really didn't have the nerve to stand in front of a crowd singing alone, but she had her first concert on July 23, 2006. It was dedicated to her mother titled LIVING MAMAS DREAM and has started a spiritual journey. She lost her mother at the age of 17. Her mother song with one of the baddest quartet groups on this side of heaven, none other than them sangin Brown Singers. Ashley's mother recorded the first Jesus is on the main line, Good News, and He's got everything you need. Ashley always had looked up to her mother and everyday it's a struggle with the lost , but God is able. Later, Ashley got in her 20's now really making her own decisions. She joined Bobby Hunter and Fellowship and recorded a song called "Heaven" and she recently recorded a song with lil miss Jakayla Carr a song called "God Loves You". Then, God had more work for her to do and led her to Min. Darrel Petties and SIP. Min. Petties put Ashley out in front on her very first performance, singing "Wait on the promises" at a Mary Mary concert. Ashley then wanted to get a quartet group together with some family and friends. But, as Ashley say she don't know how to lock a drive. She wanted something else. So, she knew she wanted to sing somewhere, in front, in the back it didn't matter. She told her Father about her vision for her concert. He thought that she was just playing with him. She told Min. Petties and Min. Bobby Hunter about her vision and let them hear some of her music she wrote. With prayer and a litttle of determination she went on with the plans.
God blessed Ashley with some talented family and friends. Kristy, Robyn, Keith, Charlie, Teairra and Pearl were the background singers and Timothy Mason, Bobby Hunter, Carlos Richardson, Ervin (shun) Reddic, and Marceo Walker were musicians for what Ashley thought was a one time gig. People then started calling and wanting Ashley and the group to come and sing. Remind you, it was just a one time program. So, God TOLD Ashley, that was what he wanted her to do. Ashley tried to find a name that will gain respect when you hear it. WORSHIP, she thought to herself. She told her friends and they just laughed got tickled about it. But, the name is just what they are about. Her own musicians Bobby, Shun, Marceo, Quez the baddest band yeah! Later on God sent some more help in the music field for Ashley: Marcus (pooh bear), Ro L, Leeland, and Wallace. New singers: Ashley N., Lisa, and Candise.
