At Intravenous Records (IVR) and Management, our goal is to help develop our clients and artists and move them onto the fast track using our creative vision, practical knowledge, business experience and solid industry relationships to develop and build long lasting and successful careers. We work to educate our bands on the business and help them make the most of their creative assets (from development to exploitation.) We are involved in every stage of the process, to the extent you want our involvement. We work in great studios with many talented producers and mixers. We also offer writing and arranging services and we make any deal that makes our client happy. We still believe in artist development and the nurturing of real talent. We are very selective with who we work with and will only take on a new artist if we think they have the same work ethic and philosophy as we do. At the top of our list is talent, creativity, drive and cohesiveness (with regard to the image and music.) We need to know that the artist is prepared to work as hard as we do. We look for 100% commitment as that is what we give to our artists.
Intravenous Records and Management is run by Anita Rivas and Roger Gisborne. While the team is involved in creative and business equally, the roles are divided.Anita Rivas who is an industry veteran entertainment attorney handles all business affairs as well A&R duties. Oh Yeh! ALyX! hits the studio in Los Angeles in late November with Roger Gisborne to track vocals on three new tunes. The songs are in an "electro retro" lane mixing the the indie soul Motown of ALyx's earlier sound with a updated synthy electro hooks - labels await the new tunes which have been penned by Roger Gisborne & Platinum writer Pam Sheyne "Aguilara,Miley,etc" OTHER ALYX! NEWS her song "Fever Burning" was the intro to the ABC show "Castle" check out abcmusiclounge.com - so since the release of Alyx's little EP this summer every single songs has been placed on TV from the EP - College Life, 16 and Pregnant, Buzzin etc etc have placed all of the songs.. TV loves Alyx music!
