A couple poems written by yours truly

Let Love Begin Again

Take my hand and lead the way,
tell me all you want to say.
Whisper softly in my ear,
All the things I want to hear.
Kiss my lips and touch my skin
bring out passions deep within.
Pull me close and hold me near
Take away all my pain and fear.
In the darkness of the night
be my beacon, shine your light.
In the brightness of the sun
show me that you are the one.
Give me wings so I may fly
for I can soar when you're nearby.
Enter my heart, break down the wall
it's time for me to watch it fall.
I've been a prisoner, can't you see?
Break my chains and set me free!
Strip me of my armor tight
You'll find I won't put up a fight.
Release my soul held deep within
I'm ready now. Let love begin.

In My Dreams

I can feel your touch against my face,
your hands gentle and soft.
I reach out my hands to touch you back,
but the feeling has been lost.
Your taste in my mouth, on my tongue;
your lips are wet and warm.
I open my mouth to take you in,
then suddenly you're gone.
Your essence is clinging to my skin,
I'm heady from the scent.
Emotions I can't control wake me;
the dreamscape has been spent.
Your trance still lingers in my mind -
a shining, vibrant green.
Tears wash down my face as I realize
it was only in my dream.

My Soul to a Candle

At night I sit and stare at the light that flickers in the breeze
I stare in the middle of the flame as it steadily streams.
The wick as my sould as it burns in the night
My soul burns not of happy or sadness or frieght.
It burns in pain, suffering so real as true light

I sit and think of how much has gone wrong
As I stared into this burning, flickering flame of mine.
So cold as the breeze flows through the dark room
So hot as the wick burns and flickers so new.

The fire dims as it fades away slowly
As midnight, one or two approaches.
The flame has reached the bottom now
The wick is just about to burn out.

The wax begins to leak all over the place
Now soon my soul will fade away.
The flame goes out, the smoke arises
With it my hopes and desires I compromise,
expries and dissipates in the cold morning breeze.
Forgive me now, as I leave towards the sea

Last Wishes

Scatter my ashes on the sea
And as I float on teh crested wave
I want no tears or grief for me
Or duty visits to my grave...
Don't bury me beneath the ground
No cold imprisoned tomb for me
Or headstone with an earthly mound
Thats not the place I'd want to be.
Its where the winds blow fresh and free
I know I will lie content
The sea I love my Cemetary
The waves my only monument...
