I enjoy as I said, kicking back with friends, making new friends, checking out the latest and greatest flick, reading every once in a while, and playing video games, as well doing 3D Animation.
I enjoy horror films, comedies, suspenseful flicks with plenty of action and beautifully done visuals, and Kung-Fu films.
I enjoy reading the latest and greatest happenings around the world. Stuff on what's going on with 3D Animation and stuff going on with movies.
My whole interest in animation goes back to fourth grade where I would draw comics instead of listening to whatever the teacher was rambling on about. The fact that everyone I would show them too really loved them inspired me to continue. In middle school I started getting into 2D animation, didn't really like it all that much as it always took a while to produce something. I didn't get into 3D animation until the end of my Sophomore year back in 2006 where I had sat through a presentation done by Jim Morris, the 3D Animation and Visual Communications teacher at C.K. McClatchy. Over the following summer I had gotten a 3D package called Anim8or and started learning the basics. It was a little tough and frustrating at first but I loved it. I thought it was really fun and interesting. Junior year rolled around and I started getting into Lightwave. I had the definitely toughest time with it at first but gradually I got more into it and became better as I continued practicing with that during the school day and at home I would be working on Anim8or. It was somewhere in the middle of the year that I began to feel that I would love to do 3D Animation as a career. During that summer, I had gotten into a new 3D package that some of my fellow animation students had reccomended I check out: Blender. I was really intimidated by the interface at first but I gradually came to love it as it's all hot-key based which is the greatest way to do anything on a computer in my opinion. Presently, I am in the advanced animation class at CKM. I've actually surpassed the capabilities of my animation teacher which is pretty cool. I really like doing Visual Effects, working with dynamics and stuff like that. I also have a bit of an interest in doing video games. From here, I'm going to be going to Sacramento City College to do my general education and from there I'll be transfering over to an animation school in San Fransisco. Not sure what big name studio I'll end up working for but I do know that where ever I go, it's going to be really awesome.
