ABOUT
A new label for experimental audio / video research and artist promotion. the first one of this kind in Luxembourg. SCHNURSTRAX is a child of the web 2.0 : through the blog (www.schnurstrax.net), myspace (myspace.com/schnurstrax) and facebook (group: SCHNURSTRAX Records) sites, we try to maintain deeply interactive communication with the artists and all other collaborators. hence we want the collaborating artists work together, create new pieces of art, personal but at the same time highly communicative. there are no limits. while surely leaning towards more experimental ways of expression, SCHNURSTRAX shouldn't be considered as an insider/for-freaks-only project. alternative, punk and noise rock as well as all kind of electronica stuff are in our focus. furthermore our catalogue will include ALL kind of art : photos, music, illustrations and even writings.
