Hoochykoochy radio was set up to engage in the worldwide internet radio community. The vision of this project is to build an online world community radio station, which will create a stage for talented DJ's, Unsigned Bands, confident new solo artists and breaking bands, who would like the opportunity to air their views and skills through an online radio station.
The project has been 5 years in the making , during which time I have made contacts from as far afield as the U.S.A., Western Europe, and the Middle East.
Also during the last 5 years, I have completed a Bachelors Degree in Law, giving me the required legal information, with regard to copyrights and to a certain extent, music promotion. I have also made gone to great lengths to self-teach myself the basics of web-design and tried to keep abreast of the most recent software, as it becomes available. Furthermore, my previous experience and training as an electrician and alarm engineer has helped me build some knowledge of the science of sound.
As I have already intimated, I have contacts worldwide, from Florida in the US to Jordan in the Middle East. I have open invitations to many countries, which is a testimony to the strength of the friendships I have built over the past few years. I speak Dutch competently after living there for 3.5 years and have visited Belgium, Germany, France, Luxemburg as well as all across the Netherlands. I have limited understanding of French and German and know a few words of other languages.
I intend to use these contacts to build a worldwide online community radio station and website, which will make money for a charity that I hope will make a substantial difference in poverty striken areas.
If you'd like to be involved in a project such as this, even if it's just to get some air time, then send me a friend invite, and when the time comes to finally start the project, I'll contact you and offer you services. The Station, Hoochykoochy Radio, will be completely free of charge. Hopefully it will be successful enough to turn over enough money to make donations to third world children's charities.
I look forward to hearing your music, news and views
