Nikolaos Lyberopoulos is a Greek football player born on the 4th of September, 1975 in Filiatra, near Kalamata. He is a striker that currently plays football for AEK Athens FC. Previously, he played for Erani Filiatron, PAE Kalamata and Panathinaikos.He has played 64 matches for Greece (Up to 21/11/08). In those games he has scored 13 goals. When playing for Panathinaikos he reached the semifinal stage of the UEFA Champions League, playing at extreme performance levels.In 2002 he decided to leave Panathinaikos and after receiving many offers from clubs in Europe he chose to sign with Panathinaikos' bitter cross town rival AEK. He is the main weapon of the black and yellow team.
