I put together this MySpace for the students in my church to be able to get in touch with me, since we're moving to Texas, and so many of them rely on me to be someone to spill to.I am married to a miracle of a man, Larry. After two failed marriages, both of which involved abuse, I am blown away that after two years of marriage (2-19-05), we have yet to have a fight. It is so refreshing to be able to talk about things, rather than yell. Yes, girls, it is possible. Just be patient, and let God pick. He knows so much better than we do, and everything works better when we really give our lives over to Him, anyway. Otherwise, it's like driving 3000 miles without a map or directions. You're always lost, and end up in a lot of bad neighborhoods having to get gas or something.
I have a wonderful 12 year old daughter, Lorra, who I wouldn't trade for the world, even though there are times I'd like to strangle her ADHD little self. :)

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice I heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed: "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and never finished." So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off 23 Miller Lites, a bottle of Absolute, a package of Oreos,the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel.
