I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Polish girl. Born in Kansas. Raised and educated in Denver, Colorado. Resides in Portland. No, actually I LIVE, REALLY LIVE and create and love and have generous amounts of actual FUN in Portland....Oregon (that is). I love playing in the dirt. I'm blessed with an amazing garden that feeds my soul, delights my senses and provides a lovely place for all comers to relax and enjoy. I'm a big fan of sticks, as well....yep, dirt and sticks...and evening gowns! And boots!!!!...Oh, gentle reader, I admit it's a "thing" with me. It has to do with maintaining balance in the universe ;) Nary a day in my life has gone by without at least ONE pair in my closet....okay, the current count is 23 pairs. And then there's the shoes.... Pointy, high heeled roach-killers and vintage 1920's -40's inspired bits of loveliness...THAT count is a secret.....shhhh...mustn't lose my mystery.Does ANY of this matter???? Nope, not a bit. But I love it all the same...and I've had too much coffee, apparently. Ha! I am RICH in amazing friends and family. Utterly wonderful people, every one of them.I DO the music-thing...AM? DO?...AM! the music-thing.....I love THAT a lot..... I grow things.....and paint things....and build things.....and glue things together......also love THOSE things....A LOT.....also, I really appreciate power tools...I own many groovy power tools and I KNOW how to use them, and I'm not afraid to say so. Oh, yes, I'm utterly FOR love....AND food.....both are just damned good ideas.I lend myself, often, to The Shanghai Woolies and Quarterflash....yes THAT Quarterflash..I produce independant artists (Nicole Campbell, Donna Jose, etc.).... and commercials. I am a studio hired-gun. I paint murals and theater sets...I design interiors occasionally for dear friends....I travel. I garden like a mad englishwoman. I compose. I play the piano. I sing. I play the saxophone. I pursued and received an excellent education and a degree that I COULD NOT possibly rely on for security. Life has been VERY, VERY good to me!!!Advice: CREATE YOUR PASSIONS WITH PASSION IN EACH AND EVERY MOMENT!I drive an ABSOLUTELY HUGE Dodge Ram diesel pick-up truck (since a particularly horrible accident involving my small car and an SUV, that I endured, 2 years ago) that bears the name Bio-Betty. She's beautiful in her usefulness (to me AND the entire neighborhood, who borrows her for hauling), and smells like frenchfries! To drive her is to love her AND the planet....Bio Diesel...no war necessary!!!!!!! I'm also the co-creator/musical director of a brand new musical theater work entitled "The Ghosts of Celilo", that made it's world premiere on September 28th, 2007 at the Newmark theater in Portland with ARTISTS REPERTORY THEATER. We enjoyed soulful acclaim and a SOLD OUT run! The Ghosts of Celilo is a musical play based on true events that happened near Celilo Falls in the 1950s. Celilo was one of the world's premiere fisheries and a cultural and spiritual center for native people before it was inundated by the Dalles Dam in 1957. Ghosts features Native American music and traditional musical theatre genres.I'm loving every minute of of my life. Living fully and artfully is my passion.
