About Me

I'm cool when I'm not hot. In some cases I'm neither, and hence cause thermal physicists quite a bit of trouble...

I was born an astronomer, so I suppose I have an interest in situating myself percariously upon mountaintops that shoot into the thinner reaches of the atmosphere (where the air atom don't seem as figity and hence lack the thermal qualities of their lower level counterparts) while attempting to interview photons that have travelled from far and wide, presumably with the express purpose of said photons wanting to be featured in my research.

I've also recently gotten into road cycling, so I suppose I like painful hill climbs, bonking from a lack of fuel, fast sprints, and very fast descents, and tight fitting kit.

I also use and program on macs, so I guess I like beauty.

My Interests

Astronomy, solar astrophysics, high energy astrophysics, galactic astrophysics, even stellar astrophysics on a slow day. Hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, backpacking, photography, astrophotography, photoshoping, programming, building telescopes. Space exploration, astronauts.

I'd like to meet:

Those poor souls who can actually tolerate me.
