SECTION 8 MUSIC GROUP:
The vision of PIE co-founders/owners, (Grammy Award winning producer) Aaron Levinson and (entertainment attorney/former musician/recording artist) John Robertson, coupled with the success of PIE's first three Grammy award winning and nominated records, called for the creation of a company active in as many entertainment industry sectors as possible. During the last three years, Robertson and Levinson have actively focused on creating Section 8, a company with a 360 degree business model involved in recorded music, production, music publishing, artist management, film production/distribution, label services, and merchandising.
Section 8’s growth has been more organic than acquisitive and is a destination for artists and artist-run labels. Robertson and Levinson’s model differs from most of their competitors because they take a more holistic approach as opposed to merely looking solely at their profit center. Section 8 is the imprint which will release the Latin urban/Reggaeton and all other music releases including hip-hop, rock, etc.
