I'm Lindsey. I go to the Salon Professional Academy in Ames for cosmetology.I love my life! i really enjoy the simple things in life...nothing beats a night at home with the one you love. I just got married in July on the 21st to the most amazing man alive. He is my ROCK and my very best friend. I couldn't ask for more in a husband♥
I have very high standards for my friends ( honesty, trustworthy..etc) The friends I do consider my actual friends are the best I treasure all my real friends and I pride myself in being someone anyone would consider a good friend. However, it is hard to earn my trust.
I'm a very creative person. I love art! I will do almost anything. I love to try new things and go new places..hence why I randomly decided to pick up my life and move in Albuquerque, NM but IM BACK IN IOWA:D. I love all sorts of things! Music, clothes, shoes, purses, fashion, design and so on.
I'm very proud of where I come from and my background. I'm an Iowa girl born and raised and still am at heart. I am so thankfull for the place I grew up. I dont regret living there bc it made me who I am(and gave me the chance to meet my husband). I am 80% Italian!( you can definitly tell by my personality!)Lately, I have realized how thankful I am for my past. I used to regret some things about my past but I am thankfull for the things ive been through. They made me who i am and made me be a better person! I am very strongwilled and opinionated. I won't hesitate to stand up for what I believe in or stand up for my friends and family! When my mind is made up it is next to impossible to change it. I am a very caring person. I have a HUGE heart! I love God more than anything. I believe Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and the one and only way to Heaven is through Him. I am so lucky that He did this for me and everyone else. I am a sinner and try very hard to do what He says but I am in no way perfect. I do make mistakes, i do stumble and I do disappoint Him but He forgives me, thats how amazing He is!!!
I also have a puppy named Koda. He is basically my child:)(alex got him for me)!!
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become, sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart, if someone loves you, give love back to them in whatever way you can, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things make every day count, appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again, talk to people that you have never talked to before, and listen to what they have to say, let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high, hold your head up because you have every right to, tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you, you can make anything you wish of your life, create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets
Beauty in life is what makes happiness. At least, it is the easiest form of pure joy to recognize. There is so much that is beautiful. Beauty abounds, it's everywhere. It's in a single blade of grass creeping through a crack in the sidewalk; a patch of blue in an otherwise gray sky; it's a blank piece of paper waiting to give way to your ideas; ideas in themselves are beautiful. You can see true beauty anywhere you choose to see it, you need only open your eyes, and truly desire to see it. Anywhere you see love, there is beauty, and you can choose to love. Love despite the fear of pain; love wholeheartedly, and unselfishly. Love with patience and kindness and compassion and sensitivity, love without regard for failure. Love someone else, love eachother, yes, because love is one of the most beautifully intangible feelings we could ever have; it is something to reach for, something that makes life beautiful
