About Me

So, I'm Dara. I'm living in the "Yak". That's OK, I'll be gone, sooner or later. I'm working at the Home Depot and I totally love it there, SO GOOD TO BE BACK! The Sarge is in AZ till God only knows when, but it's better than where he was before. I'm too loud for my own good, and I'm the first to admit that I'm annoying and spoiled. I'm hella fun once you get past the loud rambunctious spaz that is on the outside. I'm consistently inconsistent, and have a hard time settling on one thing. I can be flirty, but I don't mean anything by it. I think I'm all tough and bad ass, but really I never back my stuff up. I like Coke-a-Cola and appetizers are some of my favorite foods. I'm addicted to myspace, reality TV and the IMF. I have an unnatural attraction to piratey things, and would do anything Johnny Depp asked as long as he was dressed like the pirate. I believe in faeries. I love tattoos. I'm a sucky bowler, and I can't dance at all. I can sing but I won't do it in front of you if I know you are listening. I am really good at pretending to be confident, but deep down I am just hoping that people like me. I'm scared to death of bridges, semi-trucks, hummingbirds, moths, and house flies. I love having my picture taken. I'm overly vain and look in the mirror far to much. I'm a total snob but I really don't mean to be. I like to say "eff" and think "rad" is completely underused. Victoria's Secret lip gloss is amazing as is their underwear. I like pony tails. I'm not exactly what you would expect. I think boys in eyeliner are sexy. I quote movies all the time. I like to play the "Did you know..." game. I'm smart enough to be on Jeopardy, but not on Wheel of Fortune. I like jeans with holes in the knee. I wear flip flops in winter and love canvas tennis shoes. My little black hoodie makes me happy. I "hate" all the music currently on my iPod, but if I were to change all the songs I would be disappointed. I like Tinkerbell and would go to Disneyland (or other mouse based theme park) any day of the week. Remember, time flies when you're having rum!

Skin, bones, muscles, organs etc, I love the human body both male and female (from a professional stand-point pervert) I love to know why we move the way we do, how we heal the way we heal and other amazing miracles of the human body. I love massage therapy, reflexology, accupressure and other forms of natural healing.

Panic! At The Disco, The Academy Is..., Fall Out Boy, The Jane Doe's, The All-American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, 30 Seconds To Mars, Everclear, Dashboard Confessional, Daughtry, Bush, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, AFI, James Blunt, Evanessence, Fuel, Jack Johnson, Filter, Ben Folds, Bob Marley, Foo Fighters, Michael Buble, G Love and Special Sauce, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Others I'm sure. I like my music and I most likely don't like yours. I recently decided that after listening to it faithfully for 6 years, that I can't stand country music any longer. I'm becoming more into indy/alternitive/punk/emo/rock bands every day. I've gone back to high school :)

Movies:

Oh I love movies. I used to be pretty picky about the movies I watch, but now, I've learned to broaden my horizons a little. I like comedy, chick flicky type, and suspense. I'm starting to like the idea of action and political flicks too.

Television:

HEROES!! Oh my heck probably the best thing to EVER happen to TV! I can't get enough of it. I also really like LOST. I love reality TV, like more than any normal human being should. My faves are Survivor and The Amazing Race. I also watch CSI, most the shows on TLC, Discovery, History, National Geographic, Bravo et al.

Books:

I like the Harry Potter series, Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, LOTR trilogy, The Count of Monte Cristo, and my new favorite, Chick Lit. I read strictly for entertainment, which is sad but I can't stand reading to learn something. Seems like a waste of good imagination if you are reading for learning...
