this month at the luna music series
hey everyone! i am handing over the luna music series to a new person. i am moving to arizona :)this will be the last of three years volunteering at IOW with the luna music series.i am having a songwriter in the round kind of event. everyone who plays music please bring your intrument and we will set up and have a big fun jam session.someone will sing a song that they've brought and everyone will play or sing along. so please come play some music and celebrate the last my 3 years voluneering. thanks ~poeina

The Luna Music Series is a women's music series that takes place at 7pm on the last friday of every month. It is held at In Other Words Bookstore, a non-profit women's books and resource center run by over 50 volunteers. It's located at 8 NE Killingsworth/Williams in Portland, Oregon. There are two to four acts at each event, it's $1-5 dollar donation to see the show and all ages are welome! pastrys, coffee, and tea complimentary.
We would like to express our gratitude to all the musicians who have donated thier songs(to the compilation cd), music, and time, to all the volunteers that have helped in the past and are currently helping us every day, to all the local businesses who have donated gifts and to all who have generously donated money to the musicians at Luna Music Series...We couldn't do this without you!
